Often mistakenly called The ‘Cleveland Clinic’ Diet, the 3 Day Diet is a regimented plan that must be followed precisely for three days at a time, followed by normal eating for four or five days before opting to resume to the plan again.

Here’s the down side of this diet plan;

Not A Flexible Diet
You may lose at least a pound per day, but the requirement is to strictly follow the rule: eat only from the allowed foods list and nothing else, with no exceptions! This diet plan has deemed to be inflexible. The 3 days diet plan is very restrictive on calories and food options. This type of restrictiveness can cause dieters to become easily discouraged and unmotivated.

Low Calories Plan
This plan delivers an average of 1000 calories per day, which is too low to incorporate all the necessary nutrition to stay healthy. Some people feel dizzy, weak, unable to concentrate and complete daily activities.

No Proper Scientific Formula
It’s unclear how this program will cleanse the body, lower cholesterol levels and boost the user’s energy since no clinical studies are provided or shared.

beauty-&-slimming-centre Didn’t Emphasis On Exercise
This plan does not recommend any exercise nor fat burning supplements to assist in this plan.

Irregular Diet Plan
Many dieter experts have claimed that this diet “sets up a vicious cycle of being hungry most of the time in these restrictive three days and most likely overeating on the off days”.

Low Fat Dieting
Due to the low fat dieting, you may feel hungry often, and will probably end up reaching for the junk food under some extreme cases.

The 3 Day Diet is no miracle and certainly no solution to your weight problems. It does not contain any sustainable strategies of balanced nutrition, exercise nor personal motivation.

The 3 Day Diet is not conducive to changing the eating habits nor encourage a healthier lifestyle, which are important and fundamental to weight control. Nutritionists and physicians do not recommend this kind of low fat dieting and low carbohydrate diet menu as it can predispose a person to an unhealthy eating pattern.
